Dave Green, Executive Director - davegreen at noisefortheneedy.org
Dave is the mind behind Noise for the Needy. After ten years with NFTN, he stepped
down as director. He received his Master's degree in Social work from the University
of Southern California in 2000. David is currently working with the Adoption
division of the Department of Children and Family Services and was elected
last fall as the Vice president of SEIU local 535 Los Angeles chapter which
represents all social workers in the County of Los Angeles. He has been happily
married for five years and has a six month son David Jr. Since creating Noise
for the Needy, he has helped organize benefits for Rock For Choice, The Children's
hospital of Los Angeles among others.
Rich Green, Director - info at noisefortheneedy.org
Rich is a co-founder of Noise for the Needy. Although his family is from the
Pacific Northwest, Rich was born in South Central Los Angeles and was raised
in the Northeast. He is happily married and currently resides in the Seattle
area with his lovely wife and their daughter Lucy. During the day he is a research
scientist and at night, he packs himself into dark rock clubs. Rich has a Masters
in Bioinformatics from a fancy institution east of the Mississippi and prefers
PBR to Bud. In addition to managing several other projects, He is the driving
force behind NFTN's Seattle incarnation. His dedication to those in need has
raised thousands for charitable causes. He tries to live life like Buckaroo Banzai
with "a bold, titillating mix of particle physics, rock and roll, super-sonic
speed machines, and villains beyond redemption."
Jeff Henry, Artistic Director - jeff at noisefortheneedy.org
Jeff Henry is a graphic artist, musician, and producer who plays an integral
role in all of the Seattle NFTN events, helping to book bands, coordinate schedules
and designing and coordinating artwork. Prior to joining NFTN, Jeff organized
over 150 shows in Olympia. Musically, Jeff is noted for his work in the
band Rosyvelt, 1000 Diving Robots, Girls on Strike and The Graze. This Summer,
he will sing with the Seattle Opera chorus in Aida. Jeff has a Bachelors
of Arts from The Evergreen State College. By day, he works as a graphic designer

Megan Kagel, Board Member - megan at noisefortheneedy.org
A northwest resident for over 15 years, Megan Kagel received both her B.A. and M.A. from the University of Oregon. An avid reader, art appreciator, local music supporter, animal lover, yoga practitioner, and girl-about-town, Megan has worked professionally in fundraising for the University of Washington, Intiman Theatre, Woodland Park Zoo, and The Seattle Art Museum. She has also been a volunteer for the Seattle Animal Shelter and Consolidated Works and has traveled extensively throughout the world, living for brief periods in Italy, Germany and Ireland. She is currently training for a 3-day, 60-mile walk in September 2008 to support breast cancer research.

Darlene Nordyke, Volunteer Coordinator - darlene at noisefortheneedy.org
Darlene first became involved with NFTN in 2005, volunteering as an event photographer
and booking assistant. She immediately fell in love with the organization and
in 2006 she offered to become the Volunteer Coordinator-to her delight the team
the team welcomed her aboard. Devoted to non profits, by day Darlene is the Web
Administrator and Computer Trainer for Seattle Mental Health. Her past positions
include a stint at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a Computer Trainer
and five years as a Youth Services Librarian with Seattle Public Library. She
has a BA in Anthropology and a Masters in Library Science from the University
of Washington. Darlene has spent years booking all-ages shows and photographing
bands. Any free time she has left is spent with her beloved dog Lucy, nurturing
her artistic side through photography and graphic design, going to art shows,
playing video games, hanging out with friends, and traveling.

Joan got her start playing house shows and publishing a crappy fanzine called Out of Order in Houston, TX, where she booked and promoted shows for years before moving to Chicago to work for Hopper PR, play in other bands, and write for several publications. After relocating to Seattle, she booked the Crocodile Cafe' (R.I.P.) for a short time before being hired by Sub Pop, where she worked for four years before joining and eventually acquiring Riot Act. She currently lives in Seattle, WA.

Jason Grimes has a day job, but another one of his real passions is music. The
first artist Jason ever booked was Black Happy, a funk/metal group from Coeur
d'Alene, ID, while attending the University of Idaho in 1994. Jason's love of
music and especially the Pacific Northwest music scene is even stronger today,
having booked more than 20 events in 2005 at venues throughout the City. Jason
worked on NFTN in 2005 and returns to support the project this year. More info

Andy Fiedler, Talent Coordinator (L.A.) - andy at noisefortheneedy.org
Raised in Colorado Springs, CO, Andy ventured to Orange County in '99 to attend
school at Chapman University. There he studied film production, and became involved
in the Associated Students, where he produced the 2001 Noise for the Needy. A
well-produced event that raised money for a battered women's shelter that year.
Andy hopes to help organize future events in Southern California to benefit organizations
in need while bringing bands together for a great cause. Andy is currently the
Production Supervisor at a TV Production company in Beverly Hills, CA.
