Noise for the Needy (NFTN), Seattle’s premier benefit music festival, raises money for a beneficiary Seattle charity through a series of annual music events which brings musicians, promoters, artists, and volunteers together to support those in need. This year’s Noise for the Needy festival will take place during the second week in June.

NFTN showcases music from a variety of genres in venues all across Seattle and features local, regional and national acts. Performances include everything from Alternative to Country, Rock n’ Roll, Pop, Punk, and more. Over 30 bands performed over the course of five days at seven venues across Seattle in 2007 including The Comet Tavern, The Funhouse, The Sunset Tavern, The Baltic Room, The Tractor Tavern, Chop Suey, Nectar Lounge, and Neumo’s. Past artists have included Okkervil River, Sera Cahoone, CSS, The Handsome Family, The Cops, Thee Emergency, The Whore Moans, Das Llamas, Common Market, Grayskul, Feral Children, Jesse Sykes, and many more.
