Welcome to the Official Website of Noise for the Needy
Our Mission:
Noise For The Needy is a Seattle-based non-profit organization that raises money for charitable causes through the production of live music shows.
NFTN and House of Hands throw a Kickoff Party/Fundraiser at Woodshed Studios and Mars Bar April 17, 2010!
Noise for the Needy is starting out the 2010 festival with a bang. We are combining forces with House of Hands to help you and your friends shake your booty. Join us at our kick-off benefit on Saturday, April 17th at Woodshed Studios in south Lake Union, for a night of music, drinking, and dancing. The show sarts with a happy hour at 7PM and admission is $10. All proceeds benefit Noise for the Needy, and since we're running the bar, the more you drink, the more money we make! There will be an official House of Hands art installation and performances by SEV & THE SINS, NO-FI SOUL REBELLION, JULAVEE and DJs NICKI DANGER AND JODIBONJODI. Funds raised from this event will cover expenses of the June festival. The more we raise, the bigger and better the festival is. And that means more cash for this year's beneficiary, Teen Feed.
In conjunction with the Woodshed Studios show, Noise for the Needy presents THE SOFT HILLS, BATTLE HYMNS, MOSTLY DIMES & YUNI IN TAXCO at the Mars Bar. The show is 21 and over, tickets cost $8 and it will begin at 8:30PM.
A portion of the bar proceeds from this show will benefit NFTN.
