NOISE FOR THE NEEDY ANNOUNCES 2009 FESTIVAL
KICKOFF PARTY ON APRIL 18 WITH Truckasauras
Noise for the Needy is pleased to announce a Festival Season Kickoff Party and Fundraiser April 18, 2009, at Woodshed Studios in Seattle. The evening begins at 6PM with happy hour with music by DJ Chrispo(Studio 66). Entry is free from 6PM-9PM. At 9PM show is $6 and includes performances by Truckasauras, Erik Blood, Exohxo (Speaker Speaker’s side project), Origami Ghosts and a stand-up set by local superstar comedian Solomon Georgio and special guests. The entire night is 21+ w/ID. Proceeds from the show and bar will benefit the 2009 NFTN festival budget.
NFTN’s 2009 proceeds will benefit Transitional Resources, a mental-health center and residential program that offers a full spectrum of optimistic and respectful mental-health services to adults with major mental illnesses. Noise for the Needy proudly announces that its partner charity for 2009 is Transitional Resources.
Transitional Resources is a licensed mental health center and residential program located in West Seattle, which offers a full spectrum of optimistic and respectful mental health services to adults with major mental illnesses.
The 2009 Noise for the Needy music festival will take place June 10-14, and this year’s proceeds will benefit Transitional Resources.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2009 FESTIVALNoise for the Needy is gearing up for our 2009 festival, to be held on June 10-14. We are currently seeking talented interns and volunteers like you! Gain valuable experience while raising money for great local causes. This year’s partner charity is Transitional Resources, which offers a full spectrum of optimistic and respectful mental health services to adults with major mental illnesses. Volunteer positions include: graphic designers, fundraising, production assistants, street team/distribution, plus many more. Let us know your skills and what you’re interested in helping out with.
